There is a tremendous amount of discussion in the Alicebot/AIML community, and as such we try to channel different kinds of discussion into different mailing lists. Most mailing lists are open to the public, although a few are invitation-only. Please read these descriptions and choose the list or lists that are right for you! You can subscribe by clicking the "Join List" button next to a list, and also check out the archives of each list.
Beginning in 2005, we have adapted some of our more popular mailing lists to parallel Web based forums. You can now post inquiries either by joining the mailing list or directly through the forum. Click on the links marked (View List as Forum) to see the Alicebot mailing lists as a Forum. Make your voice heard in the open AIML discussion!

Beginners should also feel free to post questions here, and you're sure to get a helpful reply. English is the usual language. |

The intent is to focus mostly on issues that are "just over the horizon", such as privacy, trust, and the problems that ensue when an artificial entity represents human interests, but there will be room for more speculative discussions as well. |
